Pickleball at Kolb Park

Pickle ball is making a comeback in a big way! Grab your paddles and head to Kolb Park located 2 breezy blocks from the Gulf of Mexico.  We have been playing with Coastal set Pickle ball paddles which are lightweight and beach themed! Indian Rocks beaches brand new pickle ball courts are open from Monday - Sunday from 7AM-9PM.

Splash Harbor Water Park

Location: 399 2nd St., Indian Rocks beach, FL 33785

Attached to the Holiday Inn Harborside on the intracoastal waterway is our very own water park!  This small water park has a lazy river, 2 big water slides and the best rum buckets this side of the gulf. There is a kid’s play area, splash pad and fun add ons like searching for lost treasure. Jimmy Iguanas restaurant, Rum Runners and a Snack Shack are located just inside the park.  Fun for all ages!

Anecdot Brewing Company

Location: 321 Gulf Blvd., Indian Rocks Beach, Fl. 33785

Newly added to our list of Island adventures is Anecdot brewery. Serving up beer, wine and cider this brewery is just across the street from the beach. They offer Musical bingo every Thursday and Trivia Night every Wednesday.

Location: Just off of Gulf Blvd. between 9th avenue and 10th Avenue.

IRB Nature preserve (through the mangroves)

Location: Just off of Gulf Blvd. between 9th avenue and 10th Avenue.

Take a winding boardwalk deep into the Florida Mangroves where wild life is abundant and birdwatching a sport.  Park in the free parking lot located just inside the nature preserve gates and next to the IRB dog park!   

Kooky Coconut

Location: 760 Gulf Blvd. Indian Rocks Beach, Fl 33785

A local favorite! If you are looking for a quick bite to eat head to 8th avenue beach access. You can’t miss this colorful and kooky beach restaurant.  Kooky Coconut serves tacos, sandwiches, ice cream, coffee and adult beverages. Pro tip: take your food to go for a beach picnic!
